ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the West Midlands Region Annual Logistics Debate which has been held at Wroxhall Abbey in Warwickshire, England. Some of the speakers who attended the event include Simon Ratcliffe of Marks & Spencer, Peter Surtees of Kimberley Clark, Jeff Anderson of Wincanton, and Melvyn Tyers of Pallex UK. The event was attended by over a hundred logisticians who debated over a number of issues such as the role of logistics companies as supply-chain innovators, cost benefits of scale, and customer services.
