ABSTRACT
The article reports that private equity firm, Lion Capital is expecting to finalize its acquisition of Kettle Foods, a potato chip manufacturer in Salem, Oregon. According to the article, the value of the acquisition deal is about $300 million. Lion Capital estimates that Kettle Foods will generate sales of $150 million in 2006. The deal will benefit Kettle Foods' product distribution operation in North America, Costa Rica, Asia, India and Western Europe.
