ABSTRACT
This article comments on the decision of Viacom Inc. chairman Sumner Redstone to dismiss Tom Freston as CEO of Viacom. Freston was famous for building the MTV Network of Viacom. Redstone decision to dismiss Freston was said to be caused by the former's failure to acquire an Internet social-networking Web site. There are rumors that Sumner is courting Philippe Dauman as replacement for Freston.
