ABSTRACT
This article explains that Amazon.com Inc. and Apple Computer Inc.'s iTunes will give consumers in the U.S. yet another platform to view hit theatrical releases prior to their video-on-demand debut, through new online movie download services. Amazon launched its Amazon Unbox, a service which offers movie releases within their DVD distribution window. The pricing for movie titles of Amazon range from $15 for newer releases to $7 for older releases.
