ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of Ethan Allen to close a case goods plant in Spruce Pine, North Carolina. The company will convert an upholstery plant in Atoka, Oklahoma into a regional distribution center. About 465 jobs will be affected by the plant closure and conversion. The company plans to allocate the factories' production to its other plants in the United States or offshore sourcing.
