ABSTRACT
The article reports that Whittier Wood Products, an unfinished furniture manufacturer, has acquired a 150,000-square foot factory in Vietnam to produce its alder furniture line. President Scott Whittier expresses optimism about the opportunities that the facility will give to the company to compete globally. Several unfinished wood furniture manufactured by Whittier include chairs, tables and bookcases.
