The article offers information on the role of the U.S. Special Operations Forces in the war against terror. In the operation Enduring Freedom in 2001, it went into hot pursuit of Taliban. It used unconventional warfare and conducted parachute operations and helicopter infiltrations. Then in the operation Iraqi Freedom, its role was very significant. It focused on the location of Iraqi army divisions while conventional forces made their drive from the south.
