ABSTRACT
The article features the music group Los Lobos. One of America's most distinctive groups it has earned the status of the Great American Band. For these musicians, it has always been their passion and they have excelled with limited resources for so long that paying close attention to detail is now second nature. They use a Tascam 8-track recorder into which they first record and keep on adding or deleting from the original. They state that their latest album has a character of its own.
