ABSTRACT
The article reports on the agreement between Entergy Corp. and Consumers Energy, subsidiary of CMS Energy, to acquire Palisades Nuclear Plant located near South Haven, Michigan and the extension of operating licenses for Progress Energy. Entergy is the country's second largest nuclear power company and is to operate its 12th nuclear generating reactors with its latest acquisition.
