ABSTRACT
The article reports on an action plan for the implementation of a research agenda for chemical and biotech sciences in Europe proposed by the European Technology Platform for Sustainable Chemistry. It is said that the plan has been chosen to align with priorities for research under the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Commission. Included in the plan are the construction of a smart energy home and an integrated bio-refinery pilot facility.
