ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the things that parents should do help prevent children from getting tonsillitis. One of the best ways to stop a child from getting tonsillitis is to get them to wash their hands. Children with suspected throat infection should see a health professional. Soft food and warm drinks should be given, as do pain relief, throat lozenges and mouth-washes.
