ABSTRACT
The article discusses the results of a report on supermarket pharmacy trends in the U.S. for 2006. The report showed that one of the major challenges for such pharmacies was complying with laws restricting the sales of cold medicines containing pseudoephedrine. The report also revealed that two-thirds of all supermarket operators are using robotic prescription filling in at least one pharmacy and that pharmacy employee turnover is lower than supermarket employee turnover.
