ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the formats of two retail stores in the U.S. Mercado, a retail store in Phoenix, Arizona, is designed to serve both the growing Hispanic population in Arizona as well as non-Hispanics who enjoy authentic Mexican and Latin American foods. An upscale concept of a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania store by Giant Eagle features a Brazilian-style churrasco at which fresh meats, seafood and vegetables are roasted over an open flame and carved to order.
