On the development of a national diabetes network in Greece

The article discusses research being done on the development of the National Diabetes Computer Network (NDCN) in Greece. It references a study by P. Halvatsiotis et al published in a 1998 issue of "Diabetes Nutrition and Metabolism." The objective of the NDCN is to establish a national diabetes database and to offer interactive telemedicine services. Information on the Cooperative Health Information Networks, a project which supported the NDCN, is presented.
