ABSTRACT
The article presents a study on the Antibiotic resistance in Mycoplasm hominis which is a characterization of fluoroquinolone-resistant mutants. Mycoplasma hominis is the most commonly involved species. Spontaneous flouroquinolone-resistant mutants were selected in vitro by serial transfers of the PG21 susceptible reference strain. After further observation, the result indicated that high-level resistance to fluoroquinolones in Mycoplasm hominis is associated with a nucleotide mutation in genes.
