The article cites a study which seeks to investigate the comparison between 16S ribosomal ribonucleic acid (rRNA) and phenotypic characteristics of mobiluncus genus. The study used mobiluncus type strains and clinical isolates that were used in amplification utilizing polymerase chain reaction and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) sequence and southern blot analysis. In conclusion, DNA sequence differences in 16S rRNA genes was the most uniform species-dividing property of mobiluncus strains.

Aptamers are short RNA or DNA oligonucleotides which can bind with different targets. Typically, they are selected from a large number of random DNA sequence libraries. The main strategy to obtain aptamers is systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment (SELEX). Low efficiency is...

Vibrio cholerae and V. vulnificus are of major concern due to their effect on public health throughout the world.
