ABSTRACT
The article presents information on a study that compared the efficacy of combination therapy and epinephrine alone in the treatment of patients suffering from peptic ulcer bleeding. The measures for rating the outcome of the two treatments were rates of initial haemostasis and recurrent bleeding. The findings revealed no difference in achieving initial haemostasis. However, bleeding recurred more often in epinephrine alone patients.
