ABSTRACT
The article reports on the growth of the managed account industry in the U.S. The Chicago market research estimated the asset of the management industry to increase from $700 billion to $1 trillion by 2010. Market giants of the managed account industry has 80% control on the market such as Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. and Morgan Stanley & Co. Furthermore, the new entrants like insurance companies is expected to expand in the market.
