The article focuses on steel price hedging, which is one of the themes at the Steel Success Strategies conference in June 2006, in New York. The managing partners of the World Steel Dynamics (WSD) along with American Metal Market stress that price hedging is the future of the steel business. They believe that the ability of hedge is particularly important to service centers and end-users.
