ABSTRACT
The article reports on the financial performance of Bestar, a ready-to-assemble furniture manufacturer, for the first half of 2006. The company posted a 26.9 percent decline in revenues for the period. The revenue decline was attributed to raw materials shortages, reduced orders from a major account, increased particleboard prices and the stronger Canadian dollar.
