ABSTRACT
The article reports on the merger between GERS Retail Systems, a store automation software vendor, and Ecometry Corp., a provider of retail, electronic retail and direct marketing systems. The merger has formed the company, called Escalate Retail which will focus on improving retailer profitability through customer-focused programs. Escalante has named Stewart Bloom as CEO and John Marrah as president.
