Cisco Buying VOD Firm Arroyo

Cisco has reached a definitive agreement to buy the firm, with the deal expected to close on October 31, 2006. According to Kip Compton, senior director of Internet Protocol TV/video deployment at Cisco, it is looking beyond just deploying on-demand video systems via Arroyo.
