ABSTRACT
The article provides an overview of the sound mixing done by David Morgan for several Paul Simon concert tours. He recalls the difficulty of learning to mix from a bad location such as way off-center or under a balcony. He suggests bringing an SIA Smaart or some other systems that will verify the correlation between the mix out of the desk and a test mic placed in a good listening position.
