ABSTRACT
The article features the Sony Music Studios Room in Manhattan, New York, which will be renamed to honor Dave Smith, a man who was instrumental in its design. The room's centerpiece is a 36-input, 12-bus Massenburg GML console with Flying Faders that run on Neve Encore Automation. Other equipment in the studio include the Lavry 4496/dB Technologies, Meitner and DCS converters.
