ABSTRACT
The article discusses the side effects of using medications for erectile dysfunction. The use of Phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors, which include sildenafil (Viagra) and tadalafil (Cialis) have been recognized to cause temporary, minor visual changes. The adverse effects of using these drugs is said to cause unilateral diminished visual acuity, visual field loss, and edema. The risk is said to be high in patients over 50, and those suffering from heart disease.
