ABSTRACT
The article reports on the refusal of the Bank of America (BofA) to lend money necessary for the bid of Columbia Sussex for Aztar Corp. On the pursuit to acquire Aztar, Columbia Sussex offered $1.94 billion to the company which is said to be a very aggressive bid. However, offers are not disclosed due to the rejection of BofA to the proposed amount of Columbia Sussex Corp.
