ABSTRACT
The article reports on the assessment of the compensation consultant Johnson Associates Inc. for Wall Street investment bankers in merger and acquisition industry. International growth and the banks increase tendency to refrain from having successful areas subsidize unsuccessful ones are the contributing factors behind the predicted bonus increases. The report predicts that investment banking will incur a 25% increase and equities will be up 20%-25% from 2005.
