ABSTRACT
The article reports on the success of the Reliance Industries, a Mumbai-based petrochemical company to complete the private placement in India. The India's largest private sector companies as ABN Amro, Banc of America Securities and HSBC Securities, raised $200 million but ultimately placed $300 million in launching the offer. The company is divided into four separate entities as Reliance Capital Ventures, Reliance Communication Ventures, Reliance Energy Ventures and Reliance Natural Resources.
