ABSTRACT
The article reports that enlisted soldiers can now attend college, earn degrees and become officers while serving on active duty. A two-year scholarship program called the Green to Gold Active-Duty Option, allows soldiers who meet certain time-in-service and age requirements to attend college for up to 24 months.
