ABSTRACT
The article deals with the programs that the U.S. Army provides to soldiers who are earning a degree or certificate. The Tuition Assistance Program is authorized for all soldiers and may be used in support of soldiers' professional personal self-development goals. The Montgomery GI Bill is available to active-duty and reserve-component service members who meet the eligibility criteria outlined in Title 38 of U.S. Code. The Army College Fund is an initial enlistment incentive offered to applicants who meet criteria and enlist for a shortage Military occupational specialty.
