Petasnick named chairman-elect designate by AHA board

The article reports that the American Hospital Association's board of trustees in July 2006 elected William D. Petasnick chairman-elect designate. He is president and CEO of Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital and the Froedtert & Community Health System in Milwaukee, a post he has held since 1993. He will succeed Kevin Lofton, president and CEO of Catholic Health Initiatives, Denver, who becomes chairman of the board on January 1, 2007.
