ABSTRACT
The article reports on the announcement of the Treasury Department that it will $985 million of new cash at its weekly auction of 91-day and 182-day discount bills on August 14, 2006 in the U.S. The increase will be done through selling $17 billion 91-day discount bills due on November 16, 2006 and $16 billion 182-day discount billion due on February 15, 2007 to refund $32.015 billion in maturing securities.
