Mattress Firm expands in Phoenix market

The article reports that Mattress Firm has completed its acquisition of Metropolitan Mattress based in Chandler, Arizona. Twenty-three Metropolitan chains in the Phoenix area have reopened as Mattress Firm stores. As a result of the acquisition, Mattress has increased the number of its stores in the Phoenix market to 36. Meanwhile, two former Metropolitan stores have been converted into Mattress Firm SuperCenters.
