The article profiles Hyman Itzkovitz, founder of Primo International, a furniture manufacturer in Montreal, Quebec. He recalls his childhood experience with the Holocaust in Mir, Poland. When he migrated to Canada in 1948, he worked in a factory and as a peddler. He established Primo as a mattress manufacturer and later expanded to other products such as leather upholstery and hospitality furniture.
