The article reports on dispute between Euro RSCG and McCann-Erickson Worldwide regarding the TUPE employment law. TUPE is a piece of European Union legislation that was created in order to protect employees when their jobs were taken over by new contractors. McCann couldn't redeploy three staff who worked on the account and Euro is reluctant to take the three staff. An insider of Euro feels that McCann is using the TUPE law to avoid paying redundancy packages.
