ABSTRACT
The article reports on the canceled sitcoms with nominations at the 58th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, California, in August 2006. Six-time Emmy winner Malcolm in the Middle, one of the best non-animated sitcoms Fox has ever had on its schedule, exited the airwaves in May 2006 after a healthy seven-season run, scoring four Emmy nominations in 2006, including the seventh consecutive nod of Jane Kaczmarek for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series.
