The article discusses the developments of the speech curricula in different foreign universities including Switzerland, Austria, Germany, England and Ireland. Speech programs in Germany has seen little changes from 1957 to 1962, with no additions nor deletions in the curricula. In Switzerland, no speech class was established but scattered courses in phonetics and oral interpretation. The University of Vienna in Austria offers an excellent curriculum in speech especially in theater offering Dissertation Seminar in the Dramatic Satire from Nestory to Ionesco, A Film Seminar and the Muse Possibility of Folk Drama Production. In England and Ireland, speech training is included in their extramural programs specifically in debate and oratory such as the universities.
