ABSTRACT
The article deals with the plans of farmers in Cumbria, England for the non-profit Cumbria Farmer Network (CFN). The projects and training sessions will be based on ideas from farmers according to Will Rawling, chairman of the CFN. The non-profit group holds meetings with farmers to ensure there is a constant feedback of issues to the CFN board. It is working with the Friends of the Lake District to increase the public's awareness of hill farming.
