Small Uptick in 1st Half Southeast Issuance

The article reports developments on the bond market of the Southeastern states in the U.S. for the first six months of 2006. Southeast issuers sold $36.1 billion in 857 transactions, which depicts an increase of $32.1 million for the first half of the year. And new-money sales volume was $27.5 billion, which depicts an increase of 64.3 percent.
