ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs on sports and recreation for people with disabilities in the U.S. Richard Petty of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) and NASCAR Nextel Cup Series champion Tony Stewart have launched a dog tag program called SpeedyTags for the benefit of the Paralyzed Veterans of America. The final competitions of the Long Island Horse Show Series for Riders with Disabilities will be held in Bridgehampton, New York on August 28, 2006.
