The symposium, which highly centered on the broadening the understanding of microfinance, was attended by almost 100 people. It discussed several financial services like insurance, payment services and savings, which comprised microfinance itself. Concepts like hedging and leveraging intellectual capital were also incorporated into the five-hour symposium.
