MotherRock Won't Be: Won't Be Nat Gas' Last Victim

Terzo, Gere
August 2006
Investment Dealers' Digest;8/14/2006, Vol. 72 Issue 32, p9
Trade Publication
The article reports on the deteriorating performance of MotherRock in the course of its business in the U.S. It started when the energy hedge fund gambled on natural gas, one of the most volatile industrial commodities, and later lost the bet. The investment must have been strongly asserted as the New York-based fund vigorously put a large short trade on the commodity, an act which simply implied that it had never expected such a whip from the swing of the volatile natural gas pendulum.
