Washington's Sound Transit Seeks Public Feedback on Big Bonding Plan

The article reports that Washington's Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority is seeking feedback from residents on which of three borrowing packages to include on the November 2007 ballot. Sound Transit expects to issue $800 million of sales tax revenue bonds in 2009 to finish paying for the capital projects approved in 1996. It has issued $350 million in sales tax and motor vehicle bonds in 1998 and $422.8 million in sales tax bonds in 2005.
