The article focuses on the decision of Royal Vopak NV and Mitsui and Co. Ltd. to jettison plans to joint venture their tank storage activities in North America. Vopak's director of corporate communications and investor relations, Rolf Brouwer, said the companies had been frustrated by the length of time taken by the U.S. International Trade Commission and antitrust authorities to process the proposed venture.
