ABSTRACT
The article reports on a memorandum of understanding signed by Oil and Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC) with PetroEcuador, the state oil company of Ecuador. The objective of the agreement is to develop and promote research in energy fields, including petrochemicals, gas and hydrocarbons. PetroEcuador and ONGC subsidiary ONGC Videsh Ltd. will collaborate in the area of exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons in Ecuador, on mutually agreed terms.
