ABSTRACT
This article presents information on the preliminary approval of the Illinois Finance Authority (IFA) board for $1 billion of project financing through revenue bonds. The IFA gave its approval for $591 million of tax-exempt revenue bond financing for a freight transfer facility in Will County. It has given its approval to $200 million of revenue bonds for solid-waste disposal project.
