ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the trend in sports reality television program in cable television in the U.S. The competitive nature and familiarity of sports will contribute to the success of sports reality programming. The television program "Ultimate Fighter" garnered an average household rating of 1.69. In order to capitalize on the genre, Spike is developing other sports reality programs.
