ABSTRACT
The article reports on furnishings textile companies that are using Nano-Tex's fabric technology which utilizes nanotechnology to design molecules with specific performance attributes. The companies include office furniture manufacturer, HON, commercial textile suppliers Knoll Textiles and Mayer Fabrics, Arc-Com, Architex and Carnegie. Executive vice president of global sales Renee DeLack Hultin claims that Nano-Tex's technology has been popular in apparel.
