ABSTRACT
The article features several hit albums of the singer Barry Manilow. In his solo career, Manilow's 1974 album "Barry Manilow II (Arista/Legacy)" is now available in an extended reissue. The song "Bandstand Boogie" in which Manilow and songwriter partner Bruce Sussman composed special lyrics to the American Bandstand theme song, from the expanded edition of 1975's album "Tryin' to Get the Feeling (Arista/Legacy)," is the centerpiece of Manilow's chart-topping third disc.
