ABSTRACT
The article reports that Rajeev Madhavan, CEO of Magma Design Automation, has said that the EDA industry is harming itself by handling standards in an inadequate manner. Magma is still caught up in litigation proceedings with Synopsys over alleged patent infringement. However, Madhavan says that it has been an opportunity to concentrate on R&D, rather than just maintaining its stock price.
